In biology, Species is the most specific classification — the individual organism itself. In IAAI, the +1 is the billion learners who will eventually understand infrastructure. They are not contributors; they are the purpose. Every tier above exists to reach them. The species is humanity itself.
Historical and philosophical figures who ride alongside every tier as intellectual companions. Not counted in the 6+1 — they exist across all levels, all modes, all time periods. They are the voices in the game, the quotes on the walls, the wisdom that connects 12,000 years of infrastructure.
Organisations that can be challenged, engaged, or partnered with. Universities, UN bodies, professional societies, government agencies, NGOs, and corporations. They sit outside the contributor hierarchy but are the targets of the intelligence network and the Challenge Board.
