The only way to unlock Mode 4 — The Unified Paradigm (Torus) is to have played and understood all three modes. Competition drives cooperation. The Olympiad forces cross-cultural learning because you compete against the other modes but need to understand them to reach the top.
Mode 4 is the gateway to Episode 2: Silk to Quantum.
